Strike Suit Zero Receives New DLC and Mod Tool

Born Ready Games has released the Heroes of the Fleet DLC pack for Strike Suit Zero. In addition to this DLC they have released a mod tool along with Steam Workshop support. The Heroes of the Fleet DLC pack allows you to live the lives of five heroes in five battles as you learn the history of the mysterious Black Fleet. From now until May 26th all Strike Suit Zero content is available for 50% including the mega bundle which features the game, Heroes of the Fleet DLC, Raptor DLC, and the soundtrack.

Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital have revealed that they plan to release a remake of the 1997 title Shadow Warrior for PC and next-gen consoles in Fall 2013. Shadow Warrior is a bold and bloody re-imagining of the classic 3D Realms FPS. They intend to blend over-the-top gunplay with the simple elegance of a katana. This unique blend will hopefully create a memorable experience that pays homage to the original arcade shooter.

What started as a Ludum Dare project has blossomed into a full game, complete with its own IndieGoGo campaign. Girl With A Laser Cannon, by OmNomCom, is a procedurally generated shooter with a bird’s eye view. Currently, GWALC has raised $458 out of the $35,000 goal, but as you can see from the tweet below, Ashley Ross has stated that the game will be made regardless of the amount raised. Girl With A Laser Cannon has 9 days left to raise as much as possible.

Aegon Games’ Debut Title Trave Has Released for PC

Aegon Games has released their debut title Trave today for PC via direct sales and Desura for $8.49 with Indievania planned soon. Trave is a casual platformer that requires you to utilize the game’s physics to guide a ball through various levels. While maneuvering these levels you must try to gather as many gems and stars as possible to increase your final score. Trave is the first title from the two-man team Aegon Games, but they have already begun development for their next unrevealed title.

KISS Ltd and Groupees Are Seeking Submissions for SpecialEffect Charity Bundle

KISS Ltd and Groupees have revealed their plans to launch a charity bundle on July 2nd. They are hoping to host a “Build-A-Bundle” style bundle with games available at 75 cents each. Two bonuses are planned at 5,000 and 8,000 sales. SpecialEffect uses games to that are fun and engaging to help people with rehabilitation and therapy. This is a chance to raise funds that will really make a difference in the lives of many people.

Shiny Loot Launches the Universal OS Bundle

Shiny Loot has launched their latest fixed price bundle. The Universal OS Bundle features 4 indie games each with a common sci-fi theme. Each game is available for PC, Mac, and Linux and most of them feature a Desura key while Spectraball features a Steam key. The bundle will remain active for an additional 13 days and 10 hours.

Play as the commander of “Libra II”, the newest state of the technological art space carrier and take revenge on Alien Invaders that took over your home world. This time you will bring the fight to them and let them taste your power.

Gravi:

Aim upwards to reach the exit and progress to the next level. And if you can’t get any higher, just leave it to your successors – your dead carcass will serve as a stepping stone to get to the upper platforms.

Spectraball combines elements of platforming, puzzle solving, addictive gameplay and stunning visuals to deliver an experience that sets a new standard for its genre.
