Lunar Software‘s upcoming first person survival horror game Routine has been given the Greenlight on Steam. Routine aims to create a realistic game that allows the players to immerse themselves in this derelict station. The game allows for open world exploration and random events to create unique experiences for each player. To create a more difficult game they have implemented a permanent death feature to go along with the games lack of healthy packs. The game sounds as though it will keep you on your toes the entire time.
Routine is a first person horror exploration game set on an abandoned Moon base. Your job is to find enough data to uncover the truth behind the strange disappearance of everyone stationed on the Lunar Research Station.
- A non linear experience lets you explore any part of the fully open Moon base and find out secrets that other players may not!
- Be immersed with Full body awareness, Deadzone aiming, no HUD, no health bars or points system… you must run, hide and survive the best you can against what lurks in the base.
- There are no health packs or multiple lives, in Routine there is a Perma death system that will keep you on the edge! (Routine)
Routine is set to release in early 2013 for PC and Mac. The developers have also mentioned that they are exploring Oculus Rift support which could potentially enhance the realistic feel of this game.
