In what can only be described as a great indie one-two punch, Outlast and Paranautical Activity have both released on Steam. Outlast has had huge momentum leading up to release with many expecting it to be the scariest game of the year. With the recent popularity and apparent revival of the horror genre it could have some tough competition later on this year. Paranautical Activity itself has had a fair bit of momentum as the game has garnered a great bit of attention amongst Youtube users. After just being Greenlit last week, this game has to have had the fastest turnaround to release to date. Outlast is available for $19.99 on PC for the full release whereas Paranautical Activity is $9.99 on PC for an Early Access Beta release. Check the two links below to purchase either game.
Hell is an experiment you can’t survive in Outlast, a first-person survival horror game developed by veterans of some of the biggest game franchises in history. As investigative journalist Miles Upshur, explore Mount Massive Asylum and try to survive long enough to discover its terrible secret… if you dare.
