‘The Adventures of Rubberkid’ by Cataclysmic Games

The Adventures of Rubberkid is a simple-yet-entertaining game that can be beaten in less than half an hour, but the lessons it leaves behind are invaluable. Each level pits Rubberkid – the player – against bullies, in an effort to protect the innocent child (or children) from the harsh insults hurled at them. Levels include a child hiding in a fort made of desks, a sports field with a team player or cheerleaders being bullied from the stands and boy riding the bus to school. The game has several different play styles, all of which are easy enough for anyone to enjoy.

The Adventures of Rubberkid can be played online or downloaded for free at the same URL: www.thecritterverse.com/rubberkid. Downloads come with extra goodies including 15 printable “bonus cards” with info about each of the children, Mrs. Bookworm (the teacher), Rubberkid and the Bullies, a Facebook cover page image and a letter/flyer for teachers and librarians to help encourage them to use the game in lesson plans or special bullying-related events.
